How to Get a "Toned" Look Without Looking Muscular? - For Women (Part 1) :

Knowing what I know now about fitness I must warn you that.....

There are no special exercises for "toning" your arms or butt or thighs. Anyone who is trying to sell you such a product is scamming you! To get the "toned" look, you will need to lift weights AND do cardio (as opposed to doing only cardio ).

Having said that, let me explain.

Women often fear that if they do weight training, they will look like one of those female "masculine looking bodybuilders".


Ladies, putting on serious muscle is no joke. Testosterone is require to build muscles. Women's bodies just do not produce enough testosterone required to create the huge muscular growth. So no matter how much strength training you do, you can rest assured that you are not going to look like Arnold in this lifetime.

The only reason those female bodybuilders look so masculine is because they are on steroids! Steroids will artificially raise your testosterone levels which will allow you to build more muscle.

So unless you are going down that path, there is no way you can pack on that much muscle.
