4 times a week max, especially if you are lifting heavy to put on mass. Without proper rest your muscles will not grow (as much) as they should. Also believe it or not, working out too much will cause you to see little to no results. Sleep 8-10 hours a night. Consume 1 1/2 to 2 grams pop f protein for every pound of body weight. You have a 30 min to a hour window post workout for maximum protein absorption, so a nice protein shake within that window definately. Good luck.
