Weight loss, Today I celebrate 40 pounds gone!
Today I celebrate 40 pounds gone! I started my journey in July. I've got a little ways to go, but I'm really proud and wanted to share with a group of people that understand the struggle. ❤️
I'm going to edit this because of people asking what I've been doing-

I'm just eating in calorie deficit. I've tried all of the fads throughout my life, but I always end up binging when I restrict certain foods (carbs/keto, sugar, etc). Now I don't do that. If I want pizza, I have it. But I keep it in my calorie range. I've kind of progressed to an intermittent fasting method, only because it fits my life most days. I'm busy enough during the day that I don't have to eat much and I save the bulk of my calories for dinner- and that way I can go to bed feeling "full." I'm not perfect, and have bad days, but I get right back to it the following day instead of throwing in the towel for the rest of the week/month. Which has been hard mentally- especially when the scale doesn't move some weeks- or goes up!! But I stay consistent. And over the months, it's worked!
