Kimberly Sanders is half the woman she used to be but has twice the life, thanks to an incredible fitness journey which saw her shed 106lbs (48kg).
In 2009 Kimberley was mom to Gabriel, then five, and Isaac, then two, and tipped the scales at a whopping 211lbs (105kg).
Unhappy with her physique she resolved to do something about it and embarked on a four year journey which transformed her body, and her life.
Today she looks a perfect picture of glowing female fitness. She trains six days a week and runs her own successful personal training business called Kimpossible training
She is 14 weeks out from the World Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (WBFF) Worlds in Las Vegas, on August 23, and few would bet against her bringing home the silverware.
But every journey starts with the first footsteps and for 211lb Kimberly this meant simple, and very low-level, home walking in front of the TV.
She slowly discovered one of the unassailable truths of female bodybuilding and fitness training – that with focus and consistency comes growth and development.
And from these first faltering footsteps Kimberly progressed to resistance training and cardio in the gym and discovered how empowering a knowledge of good nutrition can be.
Throw in to the mix her awesome focus and discipline (and a tigress-like desire to show her kids what is achievable through hard work) and it was only a matter of time before Kimberly threw on a sparkly bikini and took to the stage!
She said: “ I read some amazing stories in Oxygen Magazine of women who had lost great amounts of weight and competed and I somehow knew I could do it too!!

“It wasn't easy. So many times I thought Id never lose my weight. Id make gains then fall off track or the scale would stay stuck for weeks at a time.
“Co-workers and friends would try and tempt me with "bad" foods on a daily basis and some days it felt like no-one was in my corner.
“Weight loss isn't just a physical journey, it's an emotional one too.
“I've learned a great deal in the past 4 years while working to lose over 100lbs. Unlike most trainers I can say that I have actually been there and done that. I understand the emotional and physical hardships that come along with making the choice to change your fitness life.
“But it is all worth it. I wanted my kids to see the sacrifices, hard work, and passion that goes into making your dreams come true. I wanted my children to see that I am strong and I want my kids to want to be strong like me!”
