Why not be afraid to take muscle ? :

Why not be afraid to take muscle (part 1) ?
Imagine for a moment that women who regularly work out all of a sudden take massive muscles.
If that were the case, why aren't fitness rooms full of women with enlarged muscles?

Let's get back to reality: it is rare to see a woman with very large muscles because to get this kind of physique, certain elements are necessary: good genetic potential, years of intense training specifically aimed at developing large muscle mass and finally, a higher than normal level of testosterone (male hormone).
Of course, there are also women who "supplement" themselves with androgens...

Most women who work out have difficulty having thick, swollen muscles because of their low testosterone levels: a woman cannot increase her muscle volume like a man because she has 20 to 30 times less testosterone than a man; however, muscle development is largely related to the plasma level of this hormone.

Although men and women become as strong through weight training (in proportion to their lean mass), they do not become as muscular. Even professional bodybuilders recognize how difficult it is to build big muscles.

Now that you are convinced that there is nothing to worry about having huge muscles, stop spending hours on the stepper and start pushing cast iron!
Decide on a physical appearance that is realistic for you and get to the bottom of it.
