Golden Rule 2 - Eat For Size (Part 1) :
We all know you only get out what you put in & if muscle mass is what you want then it's plenty of good quality protein you will need to put in and plenty of it.

Having protein available for your muscles during and after a heavy weights session is essential if you don't want your training to go to waste. Timing your meals with good quality, fast digesting protein often proves to be difficult for the average busy person so unless you have your own personal dietitian planning out and preparing all your meals for you, a good quality protein drink often proves to be the easiest way to ensure your protein needs are been met.


This is not to say that protein shakes are necessary it's just they are a very easy and efficient option. If protein shakes aren't your thing then there are plenty of other good sources available to you including but not exclusively tuna, chicken, cottage cheese and of course eggs which are one of the best in terms of usable protein and speed of absorption.
