Share my journey so far! Weight loss
Just wanted to share my journey so far! In April last year I was a bridesmaid and remember feeling the lowest I’ve ever been (mentally.) My way of coping was to binge eat and I finally plucked up the courage to see a doctor about it. He dismissed my worries by stating “sometimes we all emotionally eat, even I have a packet of biscuits every now and again!” Not the answer I wanted to hear. So I changed surgeries and within a month I had an appointment with a dietitian and I was seeing a counsellor for my relationship with food.


Since then, things have only gotten better. It’s been quite a slow process shifting the weight as I haven’t really been following a plan - I’ve just had everything in moderation. The last month, however I’ve tracked everything on my fitness pal and I’ve lost over 12lbs. I can’t be sure of my starting weight as I avoided the scales at my heaviest - I didn’t want to face the music. However, I think the pictures speak for themselves 😊
