Weight loss, Mental transformations are just as important as physical ones
Mental transformations are just as important as physical ones, in my opinion. The photo on the left is from December- 3 months into my separation and I was miserable. I really wasn’t eating well, wasn’t tracking, wasn’t taking much care of my appearance and felt bloated and gross all the time. Slowly, but surely, that thing everyone says happens started to happen- somehow, I started feeling better. Every day was a step forward. I knew I had to take care of myself and I’ve been trying very hard to do that.

Don’t get me wrong, I still have moments where I’m sad. Where I want ice cream or don’t want to track my food. I had a lot of mixed emotions this last week, actually and no less than 3 of my friends can say they received phone calls from me where I was crying. But the thing is, I have learned to allow myself those moments and then I try to keep going. I’m getting my confidence back and definitely my happiness and honestly, what more can I ask for right now?
