Leg Training, Is it Significant to Your Entire Body? :

Leg Training, Is it Significant to Your Entire Body?

This is a sad fact. The majority of bodybuilders just don't care very much about the lower body. Most of them just concentrate on sculpting the upper body. A lot of these bodybuilders simply look like cartoon characters-big chest, huge biceps, but skinny legs.

Having a thick and wide upper body is OK, but don't ignore the other half of your muscles. Never give yourself an excuse to neglect leg training. Lame excuses like "I don't have enough time", "squats hurt my knees" or other bogus reasons to avoid working on your legs will be costly in the long run. Let me tell you why.

The longer your neglect the lower body, the more ridiculous you will look. Imagine having a ripped and muscular upper body atop skinny legs that look like toothpicks from afar. Your refusal to place equal importance on your legs will also limit the amount of muscle you could gain on your arms, legs and shoulders.

When I first started out, I was just like any of you. I concentrated on developing the upper body and neglecting the lower part entirely. Muscle building is not that simple. Muscle growth involves your entire body not just any particular portion.

It takes a lot of mental toughness to do leg exercises. The intensity of the workouts will rev up the anabolic hormone production in your body. Higher levels of anabolic hormone mean larger muscle size and greater strength of your entire body.

It means if leg training is not a regular part of your daily workout, you are missing out on significant total body gains.

This is the truth!
