Of this year, I hit my 85 pound weight loss goal
2022, what a year! Highs, lows, huge accomplishments and amazing adventures❤️
In June of this year, I hit my 85 pound weight loss goal. It seemed like an impossible goal when I started in 2021 but with hard work and consistent effort…I did it! I am proud to have accomplished the weight goal, but I gained so much more than just that. I have truly learned to love myself through this journey which has grown my capacity to love others. I am the happiest and most confident that I have ever been. My mental health and mindset are strong and I know that I can conquer any obstacle thrown at me 💖

When you set a goal it is like climbing a mountain with the peak being the goal. Most people don’t just rush to the top, they stop along the way to see all the beautiful vantage points. They learn to enjoy the beauty at multiple points making the hike just as amazing as the accomplishment of getting to the top. They stop to rest and gain the energy to keep moving forward. And sometimes you reach the peak, take in the amazing view and decide to hike to the next peak. Thank you to all those who have been a part of this climb and supported me to the top of this peak⛰

As this year comes to a close, I look forward to setting new goals for 2023. No, I am not making resolutions (on average only 9% of resolutions are achieved by year end and 71% of people quit after just 2 week). So, I am making real goals, one being a new weight loss goal. I am going to get the last 15 pounds. Yes, 100 pounds lost sounds better than 85 and this is being fueled by a desire for muscle gains and long term mobility. Therefore, I am going to be incorporating more strength training and of course, sticking to my 5 simple basics of weight loss🏋🏽‍♀️🧠/
