The Squat, what is it ?
Fundamental movement useful to all sports disciplines, the squat is a basic exercise of muscle building.
The principle ? Standing with feet shoulder width apart, feet turned outward, look far ahead. Then bend your legs pushing the glutes backwards and leaning slightly back forward (the back is straight, shoulders are low, heels do not take off the ground).


At this point, you must feel the muscles of the thighs and glutes heat up. Contract the abdominals, glutes, and push on the legs to return to the starting position.
Tip: The movement of the squat can be done with wedges under the heels to compensate for the lack of flexibility of the ankles.
