Squats. Start with the barbell on the supports of a power rack. Be careful with this, especially if it is heavy. Grab the bar overhand and then raise your elbows so that your upper arms will become parallel to the ground. Lift the barbell from the rack and let it roll towards your fingers. Squat for as low as you can reach and then go back to starting position. You can do ten repetitions of this exercise and three sets.

Dumbbell Rows. Get a dumbbell in your left hand and then put your right hand on a bench for support. Make sure that your back is straight and that your shoulders are parallel with the floor. Pull the dumbbell to your chest, then lower it to the starting position. You should complete 8-10 repetitions with one arm then switch to the other.

Bench Press. This is one of the most popular exercises in the gym. You just have to lie down on an upright bench and then lift the barbell until your arms are locked. You can do several variations of this such as the close grip bench press, incline bench press and decline bench press.

Do not forget to stretch before and after each workout session. This will help your muscles adjust to the pressures being applied to it and help you prevent injuries. If you do not stretch, then the chances of being injured gets higher.
