Weight loss, I started my lifestyle change with the help of Weight Watchers
I started my lifestyle change with the help of Weight Watchers in August. At the time, I didn’t realize exactly how much my body was screaming out for help - or at least how much I tuned it out. The reality was - my ankles were constantly swollen, I could not walk or stand for too long without completely losing the feeling in my legs, and I even sustained an injury to my hip due to the pressure on my joints. But at the same time, I’d never bat an eye when it came to sweets and comfort food. I would always say mid-bite “I’ll start Monday!”, but those Monday’s never seemed to come. Then I began saying “I’ll start tomorrow!”, but those tomorrows seemed to turn into the next day, and the day after that, and weeks after that. I always had in my mind that I needed a start date - but realistically, it was far more than that.


Fast forward 2.5 months, I have lost a total of 31.2 lbs and continue working towards my long-term weight loss goals one day at a time. Some days are harder than others, but with each pound or frustrating plateau - I remind myself, “you are at your lightest”.

Through my journey so far, I’ve learned two things. #1. You can choose to set a start date to begin a diet - Or - #2. You can choose to set a start date to change your lifestyle. With the choice to change your lifestyle, though - I’ve learned you will have no other choice but to keep on going. ❤️
