In all honesty if your nutrition is on point and your eating the right things on a regular basis you’ll always be digesting something .. and therefore consuming something “straight” after a workout isn’t required..
Perhaps if your an athlete or looking for true optimal performance it may. However if your doing the above right and you are the average person a shake straight after won’t massively effect you either way.
