This is more of a tricky question when you are bulking. Sometimes you are running out of calories but still have protein to eat. When Bulking get your macros in, then if you are struggling to eat enough real food to make your surplus just add some junk carbs such as soda. Protein is the hardest macro to consume anyway. If running out of calories in your target don’t really worry about it. If you are, that protein goal will probably be a bit of an overshoot anyway. Your probably going for 1g per pound and studies suggest 0.8 or less is needed. So don’t sweat it.
