You can increase reps, but eventually you will still have to increase weight. Mike has analyzed this pretty thoroughly already. There are two ways to see results: Volume (increasing reps) and Intensity (increasing weight). You need both.
"Time under tension" or "super sets" or any other "special techniques" to gain more muscle are not significant enough to be worth your time. If you want more muscle, progressive overload is the only practical way to get there.
