What Mark Sisson From Marks Daily Apple Taught Me About Muscle Maturity

Want a fit body like Mark Sisson from "Marks Daily Apple?" Then you need to understand muscle maturity and how it will make you look better as you age. That is what Mark Sisson taught me. He is a perfect role model in regards to fitness and is a prime example of muscle maturity. Mark Sisson is in his 50's but models a body to that of guy in his early 20's. I really believe he can run circles around most people in any age group, but it's his ripped physique that is worthy to take note.

Few People Understand Muscle Maturity

Muscle maturity is best described as the muscles becoming more defined after long- term repetitive use. The more and more you train for strength, the ability to contract the muscle even harder increases. The harder you can contract the muscles, the more definition you will have. Imagine years and years of lifting for strength and what your muscles will look like! Well if that is true, then why don't you see older men with ripped bodies?

Most Older Men and women Have Excess Body Fat With Almost Nonexistent Physical Activity

It doesn't take a scientist to realize that about 95% of people are not active and gain more weight with each year passing by. Now, I'm not going to waste your time with statistics on obesity or jump all over you about your eating habits. You know what you need to do. So dust the Cheetos off your belly and take action. A lot of people have questions on how to get better definition in the arm, abs, chest, you name it. They are typically younger readers that are prime and ready to go. Yes, you can get a great body very quickly but other times it takes the muscles a little more to reach their max potential. It's just important that you start now, no matter what your current age is.

Like Fine Wine And Asian Women You'll Get Better With Age

There is nothing more that inspires me than seeing men and women in their 60's, 70's, and even 80's participating in physical activity that younger people can't nor even attempt to do. Simple activities like swimming, volleyball, skiing, and even walking. I bet most youth and even college students can't even walk for an hour without complaining. If you make a pact with yourself to stay active by really focusing on strength training, your body will indefinitely show better as you age. The more you mature, your muscles will mature with you. This will only happen if you make the decision.

Make The Decision To Stay In Shape

It's actually easier to stay in shape once you have made the ultimate decision to follow through with it. Not only will you be an inspiration for those who are younger you, but you may be able to help those who need to get their act together before it's too late.

Avoid Gaining Too Much Muscle

Whatever you do stay lean and mean. First, make the decision to get in shape within the next 6-12 months. Once you have obtained the ideal body, then maintain your new body for the rest of your life. Focusing on gaining strength and not mass will do your body good. By avoiding gaining excess muscle mass like huge bodybuilders, staying lean will prevent your muscles from sagging over time. This will kill your look. Continue strength training and challenge yourself with some difficult cardio and you will be on your way to keeping a ripped body.
