86 pounds! I can hardly believe it. The difference between these two pictures is night and day—physically, mentally, emotionally. The first picture? That was me at 300 pounds, trying to smile through the weight of frustration and self-doubt. I felt stuck in a body that didn’t reflect who I truly was inside.
The second picture? That’s me at 214 pounds. A whole 86 pounds lighter, yes, but also so much stronger, healthier, and happier. Every pound lost represents more than a number on a scale; it’s countless steps taken, weights lifted, meals prepared, and moments of resilience. It’s choosing to show up for myself even when it felt impossible.
And I’m not done yet! I still have some distance to cover, but this transformation has shown me what I’m capable of. If I can make it this far, I can go all the way. I’m closer to my goal than I’ve ever been, and that’s the most incredible feeling.
To anyone struggling: don’t give up. The progress feels slow sometimes, but it’s happening. Celebrate every milestone, big or small, because they all matter. Remember, you’re worth the effort, every single step of the way.
