Beginners are often lost when it comes to deciding whether to go to the gym or train at home. If they do, they are very hesitant about what equipment to buy. However, there are no ready-made answers to their questions. They must choose according to their preferences and their means.


If you're too lost and really don't know how to work out, it's probably best to start with a gym membership to learn the basics. If you already have these basics, have enough self-confidence or have an experienced friend to help you, you can also opt for weight training at home. Then only buy what you need. No need to buy a stepper if you don't have the space or the motivation to make one. No need to buy a complicated multifunction device if you don't have the patience to adjust it between exercises. Then simply buy a bench, weights, bars and weights.
