First time posting here but need some advice what would be better for strength training and weight loss combined ? Cardio first then lifting or lifting then cardio ? Or am I all wrong ?

Changing your eating pattern is most important overall for results but for exercise, alternate days because then you can give your full attention to either cardio or weight training on that day and not think about whether or not I’ll have enough energy for both. Also considering your just starting off you do need to give yourself time to recover and not overdo it out the gate.
