Cardio Training:

Cardiovascular exercise is basically a fat burning exercise that increases your heart rate 60 to 85 percent of your regular rate. A cardiovascular exercise includes: fast walking, running, biking, stair climbing, aerobics, elliptical training, and sprinting. An easy way to calculate your desirable heart rate to reach while exercising is as follows

For women:

Desirable hearth rate = 220 - Age

For men: Desirable hearth rate = 226 - Age So a 30 year old woman has to have heart rate of 190 for the next five years (!), and a man at the same age should go up to 196.

Pros of Cardiovascular training:

  •     A good way to burn calories and lose weight
  •     Increases your lung capacity
  •     Reduces the risk of having high cholesterol, heart attack, high blood pressure, and diabetes
