How do people get those big rippled chests, arms, abs and muscular legs? They must spend every waking hour at the gym. Can anyone make his or her body big? The answer to that question is yes and no. Women who body build or lift weights will not get really big simply because of their size and lack of testosterone. Most women just want to tone up. Most men, depending on their genetic predisposition can get very big muscles. Not everyone can get huge nor does everyone want to be, but anyone can get toned and defined with bodybuilding.

Getting big muscles is all an equation of your diet, your workouts and your rest periods. It is not easy; you cannot just go to the gym and start working out. You have to have a proper lifting program a well planned diet and plenty of time between workouts for your muscles to rest and rebuild.

The way that people get real big is to consume a lot of calories and progressively lift heavier and heavier with fewer repetitions. You want to get yourself on a big gain program. There is a lot of advice out there and a lot of baloney. Fitness is one of the biggest industries in the country and there is conflicting advice.

One of the biggest controversies is whether or not to take supplements. More people are staying away from them and seeing them for what they are, "Junk". It is a huge industry with a lot of hype just waiting for you to empty your wallet. Now that steroids are illegal, they are making so called anabolic natural steroids. You can safely build your body up with diet, exercise and rest; do not waist your time or money.
