Wow, today marks one year since I really committed to this weight loss journey. Looking back, I started at 274 lbs, and today, I’m sitting at 204 lbs. That’s 70 lbs gone! Honestly, I haven’t hit Onederland yet, and I really thought I’d be there by now. But you know what? I’m okay with it. I’m proud of how far I’ve come. It’s not just about the number on the scale, but about how much healthier, stronger, and more determined I’ve become.
Sure, I haven’t reached that 199 yet, but I’m so close. And I know this: I will get there. I’ve learned that this journey is all about persistence, consistency, and patience. I used to think getting to my goal would happen quickly, but real change takes time and effort—and I’m putting in both.
One year ago, I was in a very different place. Today, I’m closer to my goals than I’ve been in years. So here’s to one year down and a lifetime of better choices ahead. I’ve got this!
