Muscle Building for Skinny Girls :

No one is perfect. Therefore, while on the one hand we have many women complaining of excess weight and trying to lose it, on the other, there are the others who have quite the reverse problem - that of being too skinny! For them it is an effort to put on weight, which they so desperately want in order to look fit and healthy.

While many of them may be suffering from some problem or the other due to which the assimilation of food does not take place as well as it should, it is not something that cannot be surmounted. Here are some of the ways that they can try out -

Bodybuilding and Weight Training- although it might sound little odd, but one of the best ways out for women who want to increase weight is to do it the way men do, that is, by weight training. Workouts that consist of lifting loads would lead to an increase in muscular mass, thereby giving a fuller body.

Intelligent Workouts- it is important to understand that although one of the ways of developing good muscles and increasing body mass is to work out, the muscles are formed during the rest periods. Hence, it is important to keep the workouts short, consisting of maximum eight to ten sets, and have more rest periods.

Intelligent Eating Habits- since a woman is skinny, it would be obvious that there is something in her diet that that is not being assimilated properly. It is thus important to review the diet plan and eating habits after consulting a good dietitian. Have more of proteins and carbohydrates that would help in building body mass without increasing any fat content.

Increasing Aerobic Activity- this would have direct effect on your appetite, thus making you eat more healthy food in larger quantity which would finally gave you a healthy look besides having a great body.
