Well very few or maybe many BUT the way I look was not always the goal. No my goal was to be healthy and addiction-free for my family.
Working out was a positive way of life for this wayward rebellious teen mom. That's right my choices were not always wholesome. I looked to working out as a positive outlet. It was one of the first lights that I followed to live a healthier better life.
In fact I was not only fighting my own choices personally BUT I was up against a generation of family addictions and dysfunction. I am sure many can of you can relate with. Sometimes in life we have to draw the line in the sand and decide that we want better for ourselves and the ones that we love. I made that decision that food addictions and self-loathing behaviors were not for me. I made a decision to love myself.
Working out sometimes starts out with a way we want to look BUT when it continues becomes a product of who we are and who we want to be. I did not set out to look a certain way BUT I am sure proud of the byproduct of a healthy lifestyle and can appreciate the "look" of a fit body. I can even more appreciate the "look" of a fit family both inside and out...Love to all of you.
