Jelena Abbou, formerly Jelena Đorđević, born on April 2, 1977, emerged as a prominent figure in the world of fitness, modeling, and personal training. Hailing from Serbia, she embarked on a journey to the United States, fueled by a steadfast determination to pursue her passion for fitness modeling.
Upon her arrival in the U.S. at the age of 20, Abbou encountered numerous challenges, including adapting to a new language and culture. Despite these obstacles, she remained resolute in her pursuit of her dreams. She diligently honed her physique through consistent workouts and a meticulous nutrition regimen, never wavering in her commitment to her goals.
Abbou's perseverance paid off when she made her debut in the competitive arena at the 2001 NPC Women’s Extravaganza, where she placed fifth. Undeterred by the outcome, she seized the opportunity to showcase her talents by sending her photos to various fitness magazines. This initiative catapulted her into the limelight, opening doors to modeling opportunities and competition circuits.
