It’s incredible how much can change when you decide to invest in yourself. Two photos, two different versions of me—but both strong, determined, and worthy.
The girl on the left started skating because she wanted to feel alive and move her body again, even when it was hard. Every step felt like climbing a mountain, but she showed up anyway. She had big dreams but doubted if she'd ever achieve them.
The girl on the right? She’s proof that small, consistent efforts add up over time. She’s lighter—not just in weight, but in spirit. Her body is stronger, and so is her mindset. She no longer doubts her ability to follow through.
I’m proud of both versions of me because neither gave up. Losing 80 pounds wasn’t easy—there were setbacks, plateaus, and moments of frustration—but every stumble was a chance to learn and grow.
To anyone feeling stuck: you’re closer than you think to the life you want. Lace up, show up, and don’t give up. Even on the tough days, you’re worth the effort.
