Postpartum Weight Loss: Progress, Struggles & Staying Motivated

Postpartum Weight Loss: Progress, Struggles & Staying Motivated

Three months ago vs. now!

I had my son 10 months ago and gained a lot of weight with him. Since then, my weight has been all over the place—one week, I’m down 5 lbs, and the next, I somehow gain, even though I’m doing everything the same. It’s frustrating, but I’m trying to focus on the bigger picture.

Even with the ups and downs, I feel better, and I see a difference. I just feel like I need to be doing more. Right now, I’m in a calorie deficit and doing intermittent fasting. I ride BMX 2-3 times a week and hit my stair stepper every night. Some days, I feel strong and proud, and other days, I wonder if I’m making enough progress.

But one thing I do know—I’m not stopping. I’ve already come so far, and I know that if I keep going, the results will come. Slow or fast, progress is progress.

If you’re in the same boat, just know that fluctuations are normal. Bodies are weird. Trust the process, keep going, and give yourself grace. We got this! 💪🔥
