What is the purpose of the pre-exercise meal ?
The pre-exercise meal is of utmost importance as it is a source of energy and improves performance during the exercise, and works to maintain the muscles in addition to it helps to heal the muscle.



The nutritionists recommend that meals before exercise be light so that the athlete does not feel heavy or tired during exercise, but if eating fatty meals must be waiting on them 4 hours before the start of exercise, After exercising, the athlete's food must contain carbohydrates to produce energy, muscle, minerals and protein to produce muscle fibers and compensate for damaged ones, as well as fluids to compensate for athlete's loss of fluids through sweat.
