My decade challenge 2009 ➡️ 2019.
2011 was the turning point year for me. I was tired of wanting to do things and decided it was time. I started at a physical therapy place to rehab my knee, and boy did they change my life and open my eyes.
Through nutrition and exercise, I’ve lost about 100 pounds. I found CrossFit in 2015 and fell in love with it. I love the heavy lifting and do pretty well with the cardio. And I’ve found that CrossFit prepares me for my other love: triathlons. I am a triathlete. I am an Ironman. Hopefully a 2x ironman next August!
In May, I had abdominoplasty (to remove the excess skin) and am finding a new love of my body. I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings! Maybe a HSPU??
