One Year, 70 Pounds Down: Progress, Patience, and Perseverance

One Year, 70 Pounds Down: Progress, Patience, and Perseverance

Let me tell you, this past year has been a journey! Last Christmas, I decided it was time to really focus on myself and make a change. Fast forward to now, and I’m down 70 pounds! SEVENTY! Like, who even am I?! 🎉

It hasn’t been easy—far from it. I’m on Mounjaro, which has helped a ton, but let’s be real, it’s not a magic fix. I’ve had to show up for myself every single day, making better choices and staying consistent even when it felt like progress was crawling. The scale doesn’t always move fast, but it is moving, and that’s what matters.

There’s still work to be done—I’ve got goals, girl! But I’ve learned it’s not just about the number on the scale. It’s about how I feel. And honestly? I feel stronger, healthier, and more me than I have in years. This journey is teaching me patience, self-love, and the power of persistence.

I’m not saying it’s been perfect—there have been slip-ups and tough days, but I keep reminding myself: slow progress is still progress. Every little victory counts, whether it’s fitting into clothes that didn’t fit last year, having more energy, or just feeling proud for sticking with it.

So yeah, I’ve still got a ways to go, but for now, I’m celebrating how far I’ve come. Here’s to another year of growth, health, and crushing goals. Let’s keep going, one step at a time! 💪🎉
