You don't have to set a new squat record every time you lift your legs. You don't even have to do squats if you don't want too, or if you have physical limitations that don't allow you too. Start out slow and let your legs adapt to your training over a few weeks.


Slowly add more and more weight, sets, and reps as you go. If you start training your legs consistently, they will start to grow. If you work them, they will grow.
