Get your bloodwork done. Ask to check vitamin D, not included in a CBC. You only find what you check for. Things I check for: a full thyroid panel, including reverse T3, vitamin D, hormones, C-reactive protein and a bunch of others to check for stroke risk, heart disease. Once you get labs and see any deficiencies then you can supplement and support your body properly. You need a doctor who excels in reading bloodwork. Not easy to find. It is not just about being “in range”. You need to know what works for your body.


Collagen has been very effective for me on a few things- nice thick shinier hair, thicker whiter nails, my skin glows and helps with joints. I also take Glucosamine for joints as well. Been taking both for many years now and they're the only ones I've tried that seem to do anything. Oh and for wrinkles and spots/freckles - retin A aka trentinoin. I know it works because after using it for about 5 years I said oh who knows if this works, I'll just quit using it and within a month I had several new wrinkles. Got back on it and they went away. No other product has done that for me.
