I’m gonna be a little cliche with the advice today, but trust me I’m going somewhere with this.
DON’T GIVE UP ON YOURSELF!
quitting or giving up gets us nowhere, this is something we all know. so when we encounter things that make our lives more difficult it’s important to learn to take a break rather than give up entirely.
for example, when life threw a major depression at me, I didn’t totally abandon the idea of losing weight, rather I recognized that there was something more serious to deal with at the time.
when I think back at my journey, there have been so many times I’ve felt like giving up. if I had just quit every time I went through something difficult, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
basically what I’m saying is it’s so important to learn to take a break rather than quit. you can always come back from a break, but if you quit you’ll have to start all over when you inevitably want to try again.
be kind to yourself in the hard times, that kinda self-love makes reaching your goals all the more satisfying
