Train hard, but not to the point of going so far out of your comfort zone that you'll want to stop everything. If you let the gym exhaust you by training too hard, you may develop a negative feeling.
Of course, you should avoid feeling bad in the room. Instead, you should be excited to go to practice.
There is a difference between questioning yourself and pushing yourself to the limit. Save your extreme workouts for later when you have a solid foundation.
