It’s Not a diet, it’s a life style change
WOW!! When I tell you my God is sooo Good! Since 2011 when the weight first started to hit me, I have tried countless times to start my journey. I would always go for 3 to 6 months and then fall off track. It was a cycle I just could not seem to break.... Last February I looked at a picture of myself that I had just taken, and broke completely down. Prior to that day, I would look in the mirror and say “ Yes girl!” Tooting my own horn. LOL! Confidence was never an issue. But that day Feb 23rd I did not like what I saw. It was in that moment sitting in a Bridal Shop, looking at myself in the mirror that I said THAT’S IT!! I did not recognize myself anymore.


That Following Monday February 25th I started tracking on my WW app (which I had for months and never used) and I started my classes at the YMCA and I never looked back!
My weight that day was 216lbs. Today I am 175lbs with muscle!💪🏽🙌🏽 My goal weight is 155-160 (including muscle weight). I went from a size 16 to a size 10 and I can fit some 8s. My Blood Pressure meds were cut down months ago, and I’m hoping to be taken completely off soon.
I feel amazing most days, but this journey is still challenge. I take it day by day. At this point it’s no longer about the scale. I enjoy my NSV (Non scale Victories) more! I will never go back, but I will look back just to see how far I have come. I am proud of me, and I pray I have encouraged and motivated at least one person with my journey. ❤️ It’s Not a diet, it’s a life style change.
