Weight loss, I never want anyone to think my journey was perfect or easy
I never want anyone to think my journey was perfect or easy. People ask me all time “have you ever had a bad day?” “Have you ever messed up and ate way over your points”. DUH!!! That’s part of the journey. You are not going to be perfect. You are going to mess up. You are going to say “screw today” and eat a bag of Cheetos (😂 oops). You are going to skip the gym some days. You are going to cry and ask yourself “why can’t I just do this!!!!??”. A lot of times social media can be a highlight reel of people’s lives and journeys. People who have lost the weight and post the transformation photos and inspirational quotes (like me), just seem to have it all together and are “perfect”.

They tell you “NEVER skip a workout” or “make the right choices EVERY single day” or “I ‘’messed up’ and ate a piece of cake and now I’m going to go do 3 hours of cardio”. And it makes you feel like a failure when you don’t do those things. We compare ourselves to the person who lost 50 pounds in a week 😂 (exaggerated but you know what I mean) I’m here to tell you that no one is perfect. I struggled MANY times throughout my journey, and I STILL DO!!! But what made me successful is I never gave up. When I had a bad day or week, I picked myself up and kept going even when it felt like I took 10 steps back. Giving up will get you nowhere. If you are tired of starting over then DON’T QUIT. Push forward everyday and remember this journey will not be perfect, regardless of what social media may make you believe.
