You can make a moral agreement with yourself that you can even sleep on paper to seal your determination. Make a list of your (achievable) goals and set deadlines for achieving them. In front of this contract, you must commit yourself to fill the points quoted. 

You can even write penalty or reward clauses when you fail to meet one of the commitments or when you achieve a goal. This can help you stay on the right track.
