This last year I have taken back control of my health! I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last July and was at my heaviest weight I had been in almost 18 years. I had wanted to lose the weight but it just seemed so impossible. The diabetes diagnosis was the kick in the butt I needed.
I started watching my carb intake and intermittent fasting and started to slowly increase my activity. By doing that I have been able to shed 57lbs I’ve lost 59 overall inches and have managed to have my A1C back in the normal range. If I can do it, ANYONE can! I focused on small goals instead of the mountain of one I had in front of me. I feel so much better health wise now!
