Preparation for Bodybuilding Competition : The last week of preparation before the "J" day of the competition

In terms of diet certain diets will require what is called a discharge and carbohydrate refill with the sodium / potassium balance. Be careful only some athletes practice this kind of process.

In terms of training, the loads will be weaker and the series longer and longer. Some athletes will even stop training 2 or 3 days before the competition and especially the thighs to avoid having the muscles congested and veiled.


The athlete's accessories during the competition:

- The TAN that the athlete applies to his body, this is a tincture to bring out the muscles.
- A special men's competition jersey
- Elastics to warm muscles before arriving on stage
- For women, a pair of shoes with 10cm heel (no higher because regulated).
- A bikini thong (or slip) according to the rules imposed by the federation

The competitions may take place over a full day or two days (including pre-selections depending on the federations and the organization). They are located in France or abroad depending on the level. Anti-doping controls can be carried out in some federations.
