Bodybuilding Exercises for Women - How to Get a Toned and Sexy Body (Part 1) :
Squats are very effective. These work your quadriceps, located on the front of your thigh and are also very good for core conditioning. To do the squats, you can use a barbell with small weights for added resistance. Position your feet shoulder width apart, resting the barbell just behind your head and supporting it with both hands. Lower your body as you if you are going to sit into a chair. Your thighs should be parallel to the floor.


For all of these exercises remember the key is to do low repetitions with heavier weights. This might appear counter intuitive, but the low repetition strategy will have the greatest impact. Try to pick a weight that is heavy enough so that you don't feel like you can do another two to three repetitions at the end of your set. At the same time do not choose a weight that is so heavy that you're doing repetitions to the point of muscle exhaustion.

All in all, bodybuilding exercises for women are highly recommended. Even if you do not wish to gain a ton of muscle, strength training is necessary to help tone your body for a sexier and leaner look.
