Female bodybuilder Suzanne Hedman (an RFB sneak peek recently) cleaned up in her categories at the 2013 Emerald Cup bodybuilding competition.
With her incredible conditioning, and fabulous back we called her 'the girl to beat'.
And sure enough the 52-year-old powerlifter turned female bodybuilder brought home the silverware in the Masters over 50 and Masters overall categories.
In second place was Donna Austin and third place Allison Clerc.
Both brought beautiful physiques to the stage at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington. Clerc in particuilar has a terrifically balanced physique, great legs and great stage presence – but, in truth, there was really only one bodybuilder up there.
Despite her diminutive size (she's only 5ft 1ins) Suzanne Hedman simply out-muscled the competition.
She had bigger, sharper arms and delts, and a tighter midsection and when she flexed that almighty back it was all over bar the shouting!
