Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscles is a book that was written by personal trainer and well known bodybuilder Tom Venuto. Venuto starts off Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscles by looking at important things that you need to know about losing fat loss, and that fat loss should not be confused with weight loss. In fact, when you lose fat, you may actually gain muscle, because muscle weighs more than fat. Venuto also taks about the importance of setting goals, as well as the foods you should eat and the liquids you should consume. He also talks about the 20 foods you should eat and should not eat, and how you can kiss any chance of losing fat goodbye if you do consume those bad foods on a regular basis.



In Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscles, Venuto also talks about combining weight training and cardio, and why the two are both important to fat loss. He also includes some vital information on supplements, and why most offer no help at all to the user. Venuto then wraps up the guide by talking about the exercises that you need to do to gain muscle and strength.

Overall, I thought that Venuto really laid out a lot of very good points in Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscles. I especially like the way he stressed the importance of weight training for both men and women. This is something I often stress to people as well. My only criticism of this book is that it is a bit long.
